Into Wonderland
Into Wonderland is a magazine of my favorite places in New York City. The spreads were created using grids as this assignment was an exercise on grid layouts. I tried to tap into some brutalist design, using grids but in a way that makes the viewer feel as though the design is broken up. The images used are images either of me or taken by me, and all edited and manipulated by me to fit a brutalist aesthetic. The type, Frankin Gothic URW, is also popular among brutalist designs.
